Pastoral Coordinator

• 37 hours weekly term time only plus INSETS/Twilights (39 weeks per year)
• 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday  Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm
• NJC Level 4 starting point 8 Actual Salary £22,043 (FTE £25,742)

We are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner with experience of working with young people to work alongside the Director of Learning for a dedicated year group.  You will stay with this group throughout their time at The Westgate School.  You will be responsible for fostering outstanding relationships with parents/carers and encouraging their full cooperation in allowing students to reach their true potential.

To achieve this you will need to work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies to ensure effective solutions to issues surrounding behaviour and attendance, in line with statutory guidance, and be able to handle complex and challenging casework with the care, sensitivity and attention to detail necessary in such a role.
