Our First Personal Development Drop-Down Day
We threw our very first Personal Development Drop-Down Day, a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing well-rounded, informed, and resilient students. The day was packed with enriching workshops, including a police outreach program focused on community safety, an inspiring “Absent Minds” musical performance addressing mental health, and interactive sessions on positive relationships and online safety. Students also explored vital life skills through CPR and first aid training, exam preparation workshops, and a democracy session where they created their own manifestos.
Year 11 students had a particularly engaging day with mock interviews led by industry professionals and a workshop to boost their exam readiness. Other highlights included the Be the Change disability awareness workshop and participation in the Amazon Prime Online Work Experience Program. These sessions provided hands-on learning and practical insights, equipping students with skills essential for their futures. We are proud of the enthusiasm and engagement shown by our students.
