Mock Interview Day 2024: Preparing Students’ Futures

At Westgate, we pride ourselves on providing students with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed in their future careers. Once again, we had the pleasure of welcoming Learning to Work for our annual Mock Interview Day, a valuable experience that equips students with essential skills for the professional world.

This year’s event allowed students to take an important first step in their career journeys by creating their own CVs, which were then reviewed by a team of dedicated business professional volunteers. These professionals not only evaluated the CVs but also conducted one-on-one mock interviews with the students, offering them a realistic glimpse into what a real job interview entails.

It was a great opportunity for students to receive personalised feedback on their interview performance and CVs. By simulating real-world experiences, the event encouraged students to think ahead and build confidence in their abilities.
