Highlights from Our Year 6 Transition Programme!

We are thrilled to share the highlights of our Year 6 Transition Programme, which took place over two exciting weeks in July. The programme offered students the opportunity to attend up to four days of transition activities designed to prepare them for their upcoming journey as Year 7s.

During their time with us, the students participated in a variety of subject taster sessions, providing a glimpse into the engaging curriculum that awaits them. They also had the chance to prepare for a song performance, which was a fantastic way to build teamwork and confidence. Additionally, experiencing our canteen and outdoor facilities helped them become familiar with the daily routines they can expect in September.

One of the most heartening outcomes was seeing the students form new friendships, easing any anxieties they had about the new school year. By the end of the programme, many expressed feeling much more comfortable and excited about starting Year 7.
