A Blind Date... with a Book!

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, our Librarians arranged a fun experience for students and staff to take a chance on a mystery book from their ‘Blind Date with a Book’ display, which was a huge success with every book being borrowed within 24 hours of the display going up! Our librarians carefully wrapped up a selection of books and decorated them with some clues about what the story inside was about, students and staff then chose which book they liked without knowing exactly what they were getting. This was a great learning opportunity to support students in not judging books by their covers and encouraging them to read outside of their usual genres, authors, or series.
